The Volunteer Services Section is responsible for recruiting, and placing citizen volunteers in their county government and facilitating the involvement of Pinellas County government employees in community events and projects. Volunteers assist in providing expanded services to the public that, in many cases, would not otherwise be available. Volunteers span a variety of ages, come from diverse ethnic backgrounds and have a multitude of skills levels. We also promote the use of volunteers to other county departments and various civic and non-profit organizations.
If your department is interested in utilizing volunteers, contact Volunteer Services: (727) 464-3945. Our Volunteer Services web site has detailed information about the program.
