Came up with a plan to use materials
either left over from previous projects
and/or that had no other practical and
rather than throw the materials out, to
repair a floor at SCWWTP. The floor
needed to be repaired and by using
these “recyclable” materials and
not purchasing new materials, the team
was able to save approximately $7,000. They
were each awarded $350 for this cost savings idea.
