Hosts for the Reception-
If you enjoy throwing a party, this volunteer opportunity is for you. Volunteers are needed to help set up the reception room, artfully arrange refreshments, greet guests, replenish food trays if needed and assist with clean-up. The work assignment would be for the January 31st awards reception event scheduled for 3:00 p.m. in the Communications Department Studios, 330 Chestnut Street, Clearwater. This assignment will run from 2:00 p.m. to about 5:30 p.m.

Installers of the Art Show –
Be among the first to see these beautiful works of art. Volunteers are needed to receive the art entries, prepare the exhibit space, label and hang the art, arrange the 3-dimentional pieces, etc.; and to take down and return the art to the artists. “Muscles and Brawn” are needed to help transport the art from the Annex Building to the exhibit site across the courtyard in the Courthouse (before installation and when the show ends).

Volunteer registrars receive artwork and will work out of 315 Court Street, 1st Floor Lobby. Artwork will be received from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24th, 2011.

Artwork will be retrieved from the Courthouse Lobby, 315 Court Street from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. You do not have to volunteer for a full day but can sign up for the hours that are most convenient for you. To volunteer or for more information contact: Employee Communications 464-4836.
