The City of Clearwater is again offering a discounted rate for all Pinellas County employees to their Recreation Facilities!

Any Pinellas County employees who would like to participate in this program must sign up at the Long Center (1501 N. Belcher Rd.).  All they need to do is bring in a current Pinellas County employee photo ID.  The cost is $82.50 + tax and it is only for the employee, not family members.  Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit (Visa/MasterCard.)  Shaun Beasley is the Supervisor at the Long Center and if you have any problems you can contact him at 793-2320x227.  Family members can join, but not at the discounted rates.  Family members pay the resident or non-resident rates that we offer for our passes and recreation cards.  Employees will receive the Play Pass which allows free access to any of our city gyms, pools, and fitness centers during open hours plus 25% discount on classes and programs.

There are three different fees for activities - Play Pass fee, Recreation Card fee, and No Card fee.

Recreation cards cost $7 for residents and $180 for non residents. A typical class like Ballroom Dance at Countryside is $3 with a Play Pass, $4 with a Recreation Card, and $5 with no card.  You can check out some of the other activities and prices if you go to the Parks & Recreation page on the Clearwater website www.myclearwater.com on the FITS recreation guide.
