Image of cousneling session The County’s EAP and Managed Mental Health benefits are administered by UniPsych/MHNet. You pay no additional contribution amounts for Prescription, EAP and Managed Mental Health and Vision benefits.  They are included in your health contribution.

Unipsych may be contacted toll-free at 1-800-272-3626 seven days a week, 24 hours a day. This phone number is also located on your United Healthcare I.D. card. Use of the EAP on a voluntary basis is entirely confidential.

Up to 6 free visits for initial assessment counseling & early intervention treatment.

Some short-term problem resolution services that are available:

  • professional referrals for mental health and substance abuse

Outpatient
$10 copay per visit and no deductible

Inpatient
$100 deductible and 90% coverage

Notice to Participants enrolled in the Choice Plus HSA:

If you enroll in the Choice Plus HSA plan, managed mental health expenses are applied to the plan deductible first and then co-insurance.  There are NO COPAYS for these services.

Example:  If you are currently paying a $10 copay for managed mental health visits, in the Choice Plus HSA plan, you will not pay a copay.  If the visit costs $75, then you will pay $75 towards your deductible first and when your deductible is met, co-insurance will apply.

When you get to the MHNet Home Page, you will need to login to use the Online Services. To Login:

  • Go to the Login box - upper right hand corner of the page in maroon
  • Use: PINELLASCO for both the Username and the Password
  • Click the "Login" button
