Citizens Weigh in on County Budget
The Pinellas County Commission hosted 97 citizens at the first of three Public Budget Meetings on March 3 at Palm Harbor University High School. The meeting was the first in a series of outreach efforts, during which commissioners hope to receive feedback from citizens about the budget. The county is looking at a $60 million reduction in the fiscal year 2011 budget, which begins Oct. 1, 2010. more>>
