The budget that is passed by the Pinellas County Commission is a reflection of the community, its priorities and its goals. The budget cycle runs throughout the year, with a process that is followed to develop plans that meet the needs of the citizens within a balanced budget. Citizen involvement is an integral part of this process, with meetings designed for public input, commission meetings that invite public comments, and opportunities to contribute ideas on cost savings and revenue raising.
We welcome you to become a part of the process and learn about the budget as it is developed. This website provides easy access to budget documents, meeting dates, as well as videos of budget work sessions.

Budget 2012 Public Outreach Report
A multi-faceted public outreach effort was developed to solicit public feedback on the Budget for FY 2012. The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners hosted two public meetings. An eTownHall was held on April 6, during which county commissioners and the county administrator answered questions that citizens sent in through the online blog and by phone. Other feedback was received from emails, employee suggestions, a scientific phone survey and an unscientific online survey.
